Description of Services: Empower NeuroRehab will be providing day treatment rehabilitation services to people recovering from a neurological injury. Participants will receive treatment for six hours each day, five days a week. The day treatment program will include both individual and group therapies provided by a multi-disciplinary team comprised of specialized clinicians in their fields of occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and neuropsychology.

The overall focus of therapy will be maximizing each participant’s physical, cognitive, and emotional function in preparation for a return to work or alternate productive activity in alignment with the expectations of the payor and goals of the participant. Programming will include content on overall themes of wellness to prepare the participants to successfully overcome the challenges they face as a part of the rehabilitation process. 

The Empower NeuroRehab day treatment program will emphasize evidence-based practice to select interventions and education which have been shown to be effective with this population. Group curriculum has been carefully selected or developed by our team of specialized clinicians to meet the needs of this program, and because the groups will be run by skilled therapists, the content can be tailored to the needs of the individuals who will be participating.
